Everything's OK

It’s OK
You can come out and play
Laying low
Come on, let it go
Nothing’s wrong
Just a simple song
When it starts
Arrow to the heart
Everything’s OK
When I’m here
Troubles disappear
When I’m out
I can’t hear you shout
Messages
Someone’s fetishes
Questions asked
But again I’m not impressed
Everything’s OK
(Kings / Crows)
I see your files
It’s alright
Someone will make it right
Telling no
Mom won’t let you go
On TV
What’s reality?
Who’s to save?
Who’s to really blame?
Everything’s OK

Rocky Roads

Should’ve realized all those stories were unreal
Must’ve been the dryness from that kiss we sealed
What if all these memories insist on keeping track?
The same old ideas from yore will tend to come back
No worries about whatever makes you perplexed
A text without a context is just a pretext
Rocky roads, not the ones we sowed
Have torn apart once intertwined hearts
Wind will blow just as cold as snow
And make me start to feel ingenuity and art
There’s something deep inside that feels so bitter-sweet
Fleeting glimpses at the sand and then back to my feet
Should I try to do things that go beyond my volition?
I reckon life’s more complicated than a mere audition
Nobody’s ever said things could go so wrong
No anxiety has ever taken so long
Rocky roads, not the ones we sowed
Have torn apart once intertwined hearts
Wind will blow just as cold as snow
And start to make me feel ingenuity and art
This whole time I thought I’d overcome
Things that proved to be so fearsome
(Rocky roads, not the ones we sowed
Have torn us all apart…)
Rocky roads, not the ones we sowed
Have torn apart once intertwined hearts
Wind will blow just as cold as snow
And make me start to feel…
